Chand Bagh Foundation

What the Foundation is

Chand Bagh Foundation is the parent body behind Chand Bagh School, Chand Bagh College and their associated institutions. It holds and governs them — setting their direction, safeguarding their assets, and answering for them in law.

Day-to-day teaching, admissions and school life are run by the institutions themselves, each of which maintains its own channels. The Foundation's work is governance: stewardship of the trust placed in these schools by the families who choose them.

To establish educational institutions, open to all, irrespective of caste, colour, class and creed; where pupils are taught not merely through instruction but also through experience, to develop into responsible citizens with an appreciation for human values, their own heritage and culture; where they learn through activity, sport, outdoor study and individual investigation; where they proudly perform social service and experience the dignity of physical labour; where they learn to practise humility in victory and generosity in defeat; and where they meet their own targets to do their best, under the guidance of teachers who mentor them with exemplary compassion and devotion.

Membership & statutory records

The Foundation admits members under criteria set by the Board, through a formal induction process.

Membership enquiries, together with requests for the Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum of Association, licence, audited accounts or any governing instrument, are handled directly by the Foundation office.
